This is how my 6 years old daughter drew me.
Yes, I like barbecuing a little too much to make such an impression. Either I was cooking vegetables with some meat, or a meat feast for some occasion. I have to say that she did a good job comparing my trusty master touch Webber BBQ real pictures.
I am Italian, but this is not the reason why I like to cook or I can cook (people says). I can also cook English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and the list is growing every day. I also discovered that I like to keep alive traditions that are fading and crafts that will be soon forgotten. I learnt how to make cheeses, cured meats, sausages (Italian style) nothing wrong with English ones, they are amazing. However, in Italian recipes and as ingredient Italian sausages are exactly what you need.
I am a self-taught, non-professional cook, home cook. I like to learn new techniques and experiment but I keep cooking most of my food as I learnt from my parents and relatives. Traditional for my home, common in my home town areas and more.
